This might look like a very plain family picture (with a nice big drool spot on my shoulder), but it's a big deal for us.
That boring wall behind us is the unpainted drywall of the Junior High room at our church's new building. Aaron (and the rest of us too) will be spending lots of time serving God in the new building and we are so excited about it. He took over as the director of the Junior High ministries recently after serving in the interim role for five months. I have loved watching him learn how to run a ministry, seeing his heart for the t(w)eens, and laughing at the random goofiness and creativity involved with that age group.

Wow, I didn't realize he became the director of the Jr. High! That's great. I love the sharpie idea. They did that all over the church, right?
