BreakThru!

As our church had it's first services in our new building on August 8, the junior high ministry that Aaron runs got a new name, BreakThru.

We have had fun the last few weeks as the sixth graders have moved into the group and we have welcomed lots of visitors.

I love how with BreakThru, there's a lot of time to play and be silly, but we also get to teach the Bible, the Word of God, to teens and tweens who are ready to learn about God. It's a great age.

In case you were wondering, the challenge was to find bubble gum at the bottom of a pie plate full of whipped cream. The first to blow a bubble with the gum won ... but I don't remember who won.
