This afternoon I was feeling pretty restless. I think it was because I have spent a good portion of the week at home, and haven't really seen my friends. So, I decided that after nap time we'd head out to the library. When I checked the library closing time I realized that the summer reading program was still going on and I could print out the sheet. I have read well over the minimum 15 books to each kid and decided to cash in for two coupon books.
When I got there, the librarian insisted that if Joshua was in earshot when the books were read, he needed a coupon book too. Actually, she suggested that I get the free ice creams & pizza. I wasn't about to complain. We checked out new books and headed off to find the free pizza.
So, my restless afternoon at home turned into the library, 3 pizzas, and 3 ice creams, followed by lots of book reading!
