Waiting

I've been thinking a lot about waiting recently, probably because I've spent a good amount of time waiting. What I've realized is that waiting isn't bad if you have the right people waiting with you. While I spent two hours waiting for something in a store a couple days ago, having my children there made it an enjoyable experience. Who can argue with the chance to have their undivided attention. It doesn't matter where I am, if they are with me.

But to go beyond that. Everywhere I go, I like that I never have to wait alone. I always have God there with me. What looks like a boring waste of time really is an opportunity to pray and talk with my Lord who knows exactly how long the wait will be and what the outcome will be.

Today is all ready a not so good day, with more waiting ahead. But that's ok
