Some days

Some days having three children doesn't seem so challenging.

Other days it's every bit as hard as people expect.

Some highlights from the last couple days...
Jeremiah standing up to pee on the toilet and pooping on the floor at the same time.
Joshua in the middle of a nursing strike. The boy was clearly hungry and sad and refusing to nurse.
Sarah crying over every little bump like her life is over.
Joshua screaming and standing at the door as I try to bring in a load of groceries without knocking him down.
Jeremiah dropping playdough on the floor for Joshua to eat.
Sarah screaming at 4am that she needs to use the potty, when she is perfectly capable of getting up and going by herself.
Taking three children who still can't get buckled in their carseats without my assistance, to run "quick" errands, like going into the bank.

I think I might be a little tired.
And, oh, what this week has ahead for us.
